from green to black

what do you do...

i'm thinking about going to the clan associations to get
to know more about my roots. kindda had a dream which
was like a jackie chan movie asking who am i? but mine
was more like where did i come from? who really are my
relatives. kindda wierd one day to find out that the
person you're getting married to was your cousin 5 times
removed, or maybe sometimes not even that far. though
i kindda resigned that it isnt so bad, afterall brothers
probably married their sisters when there werent enough
women to go around in the old times or perhaps if they
were normads and moving around uninhabited areas for
years at a time. so i wonder what would my receptions be
like? chinese but i dont speak the language or my dialect.
perhaps i'd incur the scorn of the oldies there, but i'm
sure humility and sincerity will get me the answers i seek.
