I did it! i finally got fired from the job.
haha well not actually. the regulars finally
realised that i've done more then my far share
of work so they felt guilty and told me to just
leave. i didnt even have a chance to say no.
oh well that's to it and i've done my bit for the
country. i've put in 120% without compromise.
so i've never felt so free in some time. visited
azad at royce where i got to sample free
chocolates. thankx zad!
right now i'm darn excited about the cd's i've
just borrowed from my dads friend.
i got so many oldies and foreign tracks! nice and
slow i like!!! andrea bocelli, simon and garfunkle,
bossanova, gloria estefan, santana and astrud
gilberto. i feel an aural orgasm already! weee!

the painful passage of time seemed somewhat more
bearable with the activites that happened over the
weekend. it was a happy deeparvali as the sky and
weather seemed to have cleared up much. it was
light and bright indeed. i was very grateful for the
short passing showers which i feel really 'cleaned up'
the air.
eight more working days to ord and i'm really wondering
what possessed me to sacrifice my off considering
i'm not going to be financially compensated for it.
but i know i have one heavy day on thursday to
endure and i hope the army celebrations with the
drinks would make up for the suffering. though i
doubt it would.
i read harper lee's 'to kill a mockingbird' and i
regretted not reading it earlier. i appreciate
the new point of view i have of things. oh well,
few more hours before the muslims eat again,

strange that i'm saying this now, but hey since i predict
things so well, i might as well before i never get the time
to. i'm grateful for army. there it wasnt so hard. i'm
grateful that it has changed my friends and that it has
helped them to grow up. i'm grateful that i learnt how
to appreciate the value of time. i'm grateful for the
reminder on how important relationships are and how
to treasure them. i'm sure i'll miss it when its over but
i sure as hell and grateful that it is going to be over.

i started clearing leave this week and so far it has been
eventful. managed to meet lionel in the library to
plan our backpacking trip. keep my feelers out for jobs.
and just brought zhudong out for his educational,
virgin night cycling trip. things can only get better.
only wish tt army didnt treat me so bad, their cock ups
resulting in extra work for me. sure as fair is fair, the
system just doesnt get results and we the downtrodden
suffer in the end. to a better week ahead!
